Colors in the interior evolve every year, just like our need for the home to be not just a place where we live, but also a space that calms, inspires, and recharges us. This year brings softer shades, a return to naturalness, more courage to experiment with depth of tones, and increasingly connects aesthetics with emotions.
Neutral colors remain the foundation of modern interiors, but they are no longer cold and sterile. Instead of cold grays, warmer shades, cream, sand, light beige, or “greige” (a mix of gray and beige with a hint of warmth) are coming in. These tones create a pleasant background that easily combines with natural wood, stone, and textiles in earthy colors. Thanks to them, the home feels calm, natural, and harmonious.

🗨️ “Choosing the right color for an interior is not always easy. Every space and person is different – and colors affect us differently. That’s why we sometimes prepare two color variants of visualization for clients so they can calmly compare them and choose the one that truly suits them.” says our interior designer Kamila.

This year, inspiration from nature plays a significant role. Green shades like sage, olive, moss, or eucalyptus are coming to the forefront. These colors feel grounded, bring calm to the space, and connect it with the outside world. They pair well with warm tones of clay, ochre, or rusty terracotta. The combination of these colors creates a sense of coziness and certainty, a trend that corresponds to the desire for an inner sanctuary in a hectic world.

After years of dominance by light palettes, darker shades are returning to interiors. Not in the form of heavy, dark rooms, but as accents that add depth and character to the space. Dark blue, anthracite, graphite, deep petrol, or even dark burgundy appear elegant and noble. They often appear on smaller surfaces – for example, on one wall, a kitchen counter, a bookshelf, or a ceiling, where they beautifully highlight the texture of materials and emphasize the work with light.

The light counterpart to these deeper tones are soft yet muted pastels. In 2025, they appear in dusty variations – powder pink, smoky lavender, or light mint appear gentle but not sweet. They bring lightness and freshness to the interior, especially when combined with natural textures or warm metals like brass or bronze.

Colors in the interior are no longer perceived just aesthetically, but also emotionally. Green and earthy tones calm us and aid in regeneration, warm neutrals create a sense of security, blue shades enhance concentration, and pastel tones gently uplift the mood. This creates a color palette that responds to our needs both visually and mentally. The year 2025 favors colors that never age. It’s not about a fashion trend that will fade in a year, but a return to authenticity, nature, and a deeper experience of space. They evolve with us, and that is where their strength lies.
