Interior of the Sports Medicine Center at Nymburk Hospital

We are continuing the gradual revitalization of Nymburk Hospital’s interiors. Each new phase provides a more comfortable and visually appealing environment for both patients and medical staff. The latest addition is the Sports Medicine Center – a space designed with an emphasis on functionality, representativeness, and a connection to sports themes.

The interior of this medical facility was designed in the same spirit as in previous phases – using a subtle palette of white and shades of blue, complemented by natural wood accents, which create a calm and professional atmosphere. Every detail was carefully considered to not only aesthetically integrate into the hospital’s overall concept but also to facilitate the work of doctors and therapists.

As part of the design, we focused on the following zones:

• Reception as a dignified entrance area featuring the hospital’s logo, a workstation for the receptionist, and comfortable seating for arriving patients.
• Chief Physiotherapist’s Room, equipped with an ergonomic desk, a patient bed, storage space, and an area for personal consultations.
• Sports Physician’s Office, supplemented with a treadmill and exercise bike for patient diagnosis and fitness monitoring.
• Nurses’ Station, featuring a thoughtfully designed working environment, including a changing cubicle for patients, an examination zone with an ECG machine, and ample space for vision tests.

In this phase, we placed great emphasis on the optimal placement of specialized equipment (rehabilitation beds, exercise machines, devices), which is essential for the flawless operation of rehabilitation.

The gradual reconstruction of Nymburk Hospital’s interiors confirms that a well-designed space contributes not only to a more pleasant environment but also to higher work efficiency and better patient care.
