Lounge Interior in an Italian Restaurant

The interior design of the lounge for the Italian restaurant GamberoRoso was created with a clear vision: to create a space for celebrations and gatherings that would withstand the test of time and intensive use, while losing none of its elegance and charm.

The lounge, with a seating capacity of twenty, offers a quiet and cozy setting for smaller private celebrations, family lunches, and intimate parties. The timeless interior, designed in darker tones, breathes with the atmosphere of old Italy – discreet, warm, and authentic.

An Interior with Old-World Charm

We designed the tables from stained oak wood, a durable and beautiful material that inherently conveys a sense of quality. The dimensions of 60 × 80 cm were chosen intentionally, allowing the tables to be easily rearranged according to current needs, whether for a festive banquet or an informal gathering.

The walls also feature antique paintings sourced directly from Sicily, part of the restaurant owner’s collection. Together with wooden shelves adorned with historical kitchen accessories from the Apennine Peninsula, they complete the authentic character of the space.

Lighting that Sets the Mood

Lighting plays a crucial role in this space. We designed dimmable pendant lights in combination with wall-mounted ambient lighting – so that the light harmonizes with the time of day and the type of event. During the day, the atmosphere is subtly romantic; in the late afternoon and evening, the space transforms into an intimate and festive setting.
