A rental studio apartment can easily slip into a mundane, purely functional solution. However, the opposite happened here. We based the design on functional elements that don’t appear austere. We considered every detail to make the space look elegant, airy, and natural. The result is definitely not ordinary.

Interior Mass Model

In this project, we agreed with the client to use a mass model instead of visualizations, which was used directly for furniture manufacturing. This approach allowed us to carefully fine-tune proportions and overall spatial arrangement considering actual production possibilities. The mass model proved to be fully sufficient and highly practical in this case. It allows quick and clear verification of scale, shape logic, and functional relationships between elements without the need for detailed visualizations.

The entire interior harmonizes in a minimalist and slightly technical style. Neutral tones of white, grey, and cream create an ideal foundation that future tenants can easily personalize to their taste. The furniture is custom-designed and manufactured with emphasis on quality and durability to withstand frequent tenant changes.

A Small Apartment that Easily Becomes a Temporary Home

The main living space serves as a kitchen, living room, and home office. The white kitchen unit combined with wood decor creates a pleasant contrast. Everything is designed to keep the space clean while offering maximum storage space. The dining table doubles as an occasional workspace.

The living area proves that spaciousness and storage space are not mutually exclusive. The fold-down bed cleverly hidden in the wardrobe frees up space for a seating area when folded. There’s enough room for all essentials while maintaining a presentable appearance.

The same philosophy continues in the bathroom and entryway: clean lines, practical solutions, and quality materials. Large-format tiles mimicking concrete finish in the bathroom create a modern and modest look, while the entryway features a large mirror, shoe-fitting bench, and floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe.

Cleverly Hidden Bed

The fold-down bed hidden in the wardrobe is an ideal solution for smaller spaces. When closed, it appears as an elegant sofa that blends naturally with the built-in furniture without disrupting the room’s overall impression. With a simple movement, it transforms into a full-sized bed without the need for complex rearrangement or folding.

Thanks to high-quality components and careful structural design, the bed is suitable for everyday use. We used orthopedic mattresses and proven mechanisms that can handle daily folding without issues. Comfort and longevity were priorities from the start – resulting in a solution that saves space without compromising comfort.
