Most people find it difficult to imagine how their new interior will look. It’s hard to create an idea of space, materials, and overall atmosphere from floor plans or verbal descriptions. That’s why at Mooden it’s crucial that you know exactly what you’ll get even before the first construction modification. And that’s exactly what mood boards, visualizations, and physical samples are for.
A mood board is essentially a collage, a visual overview of what the interior will express. It’s not just about colors and materials, but about the overall mood of the space. We create them tailored to the client so they correspond to their style, their specific needs, but also to how they want to feel at home or in the office.

In the mood board you will see color combinations, texture inspirations, and selection of interior elements that will form the basic aesthetic of the design. The mood board serves as a tool for setting the overall direction of the design – it helps more clearly determine what character the interior should have. Whether it should feel calm and neutral, or conversely bold and energetic. It allows us, together with the client, to visually grasp a direction that corresponds to their personality, lifestyle, or corporate style.
For the client, the mood board is the first visual confirmation that the design of their interior is heading in the right direction. It’s the first step toward ensuring the client has confidence that the design matches their vision even before we get into the details.
“Before we meet for the first time, I recommend saving a few images of interiors that somehow caught your attention. They don’t need to be well thought out or stylistically unified – it’s enough that something about them appealed to you. It could be the light, color, material, or just a small detail. Each such image helps us better understand your wishes and set the right direction from the beginning. Sometimes even a single detail can say more than a long description. And thanks to these inspirations, we can then much more precisely prepare mood boards and visualizations tailored to your interior.” says our interior designer Simona.

While a mood board creates atmosphere, visualization shows space in real proportions. At Mooden we use 3D visualizations that capture the future appearance of the interior as accurately as possible – the shape and proportions of the space, materials, surfaces, colors, furniture arrangement, and how natural or artificial light is projected into the space.
TRY THIS:
Imagine this interior: A family home where a harmonious palette of natural materials flows throughout the entire space – wood decors, concrete screed, and gentle beige tones. The atmosphere is softened by greenery that connects everything and adds freshness to the space. A striking element is the wooden slats that create rhythm and visual continuity across the interior. The resulting impression? Calm, elegant, naturally cozy.
Do you have your vision? Excellent. Now see how our visualization looks
For many clients, visualization is the moment when they first truly “see” themselves in their future home or office. They can view the space as a whole, but also in detail, and most importantly, they can react. What works, what doesn’t? Does something need to be adjusted? We prepare the final form calmly and in advance, even before the actual implementation begins.

Some properties of space simply cannot be captured digitally – the texture of materials, their color under different lighting, or the actual impression of surfaces. That’s precisely why we work with real samples, which allow clients to experience the interior through touch and their own eyes.
During the design presentation, we show the specific materials that we will use in the interior – textiles, flooring, tiles, countertops, and other details. The client can examine individual elements, compare them, touch them, and imagine their combination in the real environment.
This experience helps with decision-making and also provides confidence that the selected elements meet expectations not only visually, but also emotionally. The design thus takes on a concrete form that naturally connects with the client’s vision of their future space.

Thanks to mood boards, 3D visualizations, and physical samples, you will gain a clear understanding from the beginning of the project of how the interior will look and function. Together we fine-tune details and give designs concrete form even before the actual implementation begins.
